A most intriguing mix, yes, but it was pulled off properly. Horatio's voice actor was just right, feeling on the verge of wise mentor mixed with edge lord. GermanicTigress: I still want to come back to this game and play through again to 100% the achieves, but not just for the achieves. And if you tried to play Skyrim without markers, it was often very hard since you wouldn't receive any real directions like you would in previous elder scrolls games, so you'd be left to wander until you decided to turn on the blasted map markers. It goes from self thought to autonomous direction. GermanicTigress: Many times have games become easier. This is exactly the sort of thing that should be seen and consumed. People don't need more spoonfed easy puzzles. I'll admit, I even tried pulling out a thesarus for a while until I realized I was going about it all wrong. I literally headdesked when I figured out the "ART" puzzle because I was staring at it the whole time, thinking about it philosophically and less literally. Your puzzles were clever and generally not at all obvious. With the assumption you make more games that are in the point and click or just puzzle genre in general. Now, I'm not sure how much of a solo project this was, but I have a feeling you did the vast majority of work given you seem to help people a lot on the forums. When Crispin died, I actually cried, then when I saw him alive again in the ending, I rejoiced. Basically, I just finished the game and replayed the ending a few times and honestly loved it. GermanicTigress: I also really hope you get these messages, because I actually had a little something to ask of you that might seems a bit strange. You deserve all the praise you've gotten. I actually just finished telling one of my friends to NOT play a game because of the poor writing it had. I'm no super critic, but I am a bit picky when it comes to story games, and this one is well done. Admittedly, I probably forgot about that bit because I fell asleep from food coma (had a huge pizza today) a good while after I heard the information. I just wanted to thank you again for the help, but also making such an awesome game. GermanicTigress: I see you've set yourself to Offline, though you did add me. Okay, so I sent you a text wall in Steam chat while you were offline, but I'm not totally sure it sends because sometimes it doesn't send to people while offline, so I'm just going to paste it here, to make sure you see it. Nothing happens outside of remarks about not wanting to do anything due to the stupid glitchy robot there. Oh, and yes, I've interacted with the Shell a bunch too, and seen all the areas to interact with, namely the pipe and junk. It makes me miss this kind of game, but at the same time, this particular area is more rage inducing than losing 40 times in a row in any multiplayer game. It's a real shame because I've loved the art and story thus far, the witticisms and clever puzzles. If at all possible, I'd like a hint, but given all the hints Crispin had, maybe that's not a good idea because none of them were useful whatsoever at this point. I've used Crispin on just about everything, but nothing works and my brain or rather processor is just totally fried at this point. I've tried using items on nearly everything and everyone, and talked to everything and everyone. I almost just about entered every prime number on that list into the keypad for the drawbridge to no avail. In the Underworks I've exhausted dialogue with Primer. I Did oswald, whathisface, and rex by judging them myself and did the equal resolution, and already got the oil. I've cleared out everything I know how, there's no more line to the courthouse, but I can't get in. I've been sitting here for 2 hours or more with zero progress, but I'm stubborn and bullheaded because I refuse to look at guides. Point and clicks are one of my favorite genres that I hardly get to play much anymore, but this has just totally ruined the game at this point.
